Debra Kalina is our billing specialist and has worked in the clerical field much of her adult life. She has always enjoyed learning new skills that come along with each new employer she’s worked for and has raised her family along the way. She has worked in the clerical field at a private golf country club, toy brokerage company and a couple different excavating companies. She left the clerical field briefly and worked at a modeling school/agency interviewing potential students and recruiting models & actors.
She’s always loved the North Shore. While growing up around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area her family vacationed up north every year. She & her husband purchased a home outside Two Harbors in 2015 with plans to retire here. When her husband was offered a job transfer to the Duluth area in 2019, they decided to make this area their permanent home sooner than originally planned.
Customer service has always been a big part of her career and she’s always enjoyed getting to know people and their stories through her job and life in general. Mental health is something she’s very passionate about, especially as this is the field both of her children have pursued.
